About Jessica

Jessica obtained her Licentiate in Acupuncture after three years study at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.  She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and has full professional indemnity and public liability insurance cover. 

 

She practices an integrated style of Chinese Medicine, using both the Five Elements and 'TCM' approaches.  Her Five Element reference cards explore the five elemental constitutions, and ways to nourish each one.

 

She utilises the ancient art of Mian Xiang, Chinese face reading, in her acupuncture diagnosis, and also offers face reading consultations.

 

Jessica's areas of post-graduate study and research include:

  acupuncture for facial revitalisation

  the history of Chinese Medicine

  face reading in Chinese Medicine

 

She is the Treasurer and a researcher for the Oriental Medicine Research Trust, an acupuncture research charity.

 

Background

Jessica is one of those brave souls who have jacked in high-flying conventional careers to pursue something they feel passionate about, see an article about her career change in the Daily Telegraph.  She's an Oxford graduate, a Chartered Accountant, and reached Senior Manager level in PricewaterhouseCoopers before resigning for a complete change of direction.  Her life now is as rewarding as anyone could hope for, working in the fascinating field of health, practising the intricate discipline of Chinese Medicine, and helping people every day. 

 

Jessica has travelled extensively in Asia, has lived in Japan, Singapore and America, and has a diverse range of interests from website design to dog walking.
